How much does a WhatsApp bot for your business cost in 2026?
The short answer: a tool you set up yourself usually costs ₪29 to ₪300 a month on its basic plan, and an agency that builds it for you charges from ₪490 to ₪12,000 or more to set it up, plus a monthly fee. Meta’s message fees and VAT come on top. We wrote this guide at AssistantLabs, which is on the list too: our prices are shown separately, with the downsides.

In short.
Tools you set up yourself: ₪29 to ₪300 a month
That is the range of basic plans, mostly before VAT. Advanced plans go up to ₪1,199 a month. You set it up, write the answers and maintain it.
Agencies: from ₪490 to ₪12,000 or more to set up
Plus ₪100 to over ₪2,000 a month. They build it for you, and later changes usually go through them.
Meta: about 1.6 agorot per reply
Since 1 October 2026 every WhatsApp reply costs money, a bot’s reply included. A marketing message costs about 10.6 agorot. You pay this with every vendor on the official API.
AssistantLabs: ₪69, ₪129 or ₪399 a month
Before VAT, with a free setup hour with us and a 14-day trial. How many conversations each plan includes, and what costs extra, is below, including where we are not the cheapest.
What you are actually paying for.
There are three ways to get a WhatsApp bot for a business, and the price depends mostly on which one you choose.
A tool you set up yourself. You sign up, connect your number and write the answers. It is the cheapest per month, but your own hours are part of the price: setting it up, testing it and fixing it when the bot gets something wrong.
An agency that builds it for you. You pay for a project: scoping, building and launch, then a monthly maintenance fee. It saves you the work, but setup costs hundreds to thousands of shekels, and later changes usually go through the agency.
Set up together. A monthly tool that the vendor sets up with you. That is how it works with us: one hour on Google Meet, free, and you leave with a bot that answers. After that you change it yourself: tell it in one sentence what to change. Signals also offers help with setup.
One more difference worth asking about: how the bot connects to WhatsApp. Meta’s official connection for businesses (the WhatsApp Business API) carries message fees, but it is the way Meta approves for businesses. Connecting as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web, by scanning a QR code, is cheaper and faster, but one vendor that works this way says itself that it can get the number restricted or blocked.
Tools you set up yourself: what each vendor’s site says.
Monthly prices as they appeared on each vendor’s site on 28 October 2026. Most are before VAT, and Meta’s message fees come on top with all of them. Check the vendor’s page before you decide: prices change.
Gambot: ₪179, ₪359 or ₪645
Before VAT. Israeli, in Hebrew, on the official API. Extra AI credits (units of AI usage): ₪39 per 500. Extra user: ₪30. The basic plan has no human support, only a knowledge centre. Source: gambot.co.il
Async: ₪300 or ₪650
Basic or Pro, and Enterprise by quote. A Hebrew AI agent for WhatsApp, website, Instagram, Messenger and phone, with a trial and no card. It has no CRM or calendar of its own: leads go to HubSpot, Salesforce or Monday. Source: async.co.il
Virtual Spirits: ₪299 for a WhatsApp bot
Before VAT, for 1,000 conversations. Every extra 1,000 conversations, and every extra user: ₪150. A website bot is separate: ₪99 to ₪799. OpenAI usage is paid directly to OpenAI. 30-day trial. Source: virtualspirits.co.il
WhatsappAI: ₪199, ₪499 or ₪1,199
Before VAT, with two months free on yearly billing. It connects by QR scan, with no business number. The site doesn’t say this connection is approved by Meta, so ask whether it risks a ban. Source: whatsappai.co.il
Onimli: ₪29, ₪149 or ₪299
For the WhatsApp bot, and the same range for a missed-call answering line. 7-day trial. By its owner’s own comparison page, the bot connects as a linked device rather than through Meta’s API, so the number can be blocked. Source: onimli.com
Signals BOT67: from ₪109
An AI agent that books meetings with WhatsApp leads, with a 14-day trial. VAT is not stated. The company also sells an API platform by quote. Source: signals.co.il
Agencies that build it for you.
Here you pay for setup, then for maintenance. Ask what setup includes, and what each change costs afterwards.
Nagan (Sound Check): ₪290 or ₪449 a month

STSICONIC: from ₪700 a month and ₪2,500 setup
A custom AI agent on the official API, with a CRM. Premium: from ₪2,000 a month and ₪7,000 setup. Source: stsiconic.com
Digitalix PersonaAI: ₪499 to ₪1,499 a month
Before VAT, plus a setup fee of an unpublished amount. An agent for WhatsApp, website and Instagram, live in one to two weeks. Source: digitalix.co.il
Other agencies: from ₪3,500 to ₪10,200 and up for setup
Wiseflow from ₪3,500, Automaziot from ₪10,200. Most publish no monthly price. The source here is STSICONIC’s comparison table, not their own sites, so check with them directly.
Meta’s message fees: the amount everyone adds.
You pay twice: the bot vendor, and Meta. You pay Meta’s fees with every vendor on the official connection, us included.
Since 1 October 2026 Meta charges for every message a business sends, an ordinary reply from a bot or a person included. Israeli rates did not change, but customer-service replies, which used to be free, are now paid:
An ordinary reply in a conversation: $0.0053, about 1.6 agorot. A reminder or update from an approved template: $0.0053, about 1.6 agorot. A marketing message: $0.0353, about 10.6 agorot. Whatever the customer sends you: free, always.
An example: 500 conversations a month at six replies each is 3,000 messages, about ₪48. The same 500 conversations at twenty replies each: about ₪160. What sets the amount is how many messages the bot sends per conversation, not how many conversations you have.
One thing stays free: a customer who comes from a Facebook or Instagram ad with a "Send WhatsApp message" button, and who you answer within 24 hours, opens 72 hours of free messages.
Calculated from Meta’s Israel rate card at about ₪3.01 to the dollar.
AssistantLabs: three plans, every price in the open.
An AI agent that answers customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, your website, phone, email and Slack, with more products depending on the plan, such as booking and a CRM. You can run it from ChatGPT and Claude too. Monthly prices, before VAT.
- Agents Lite, ₪69: the agent alone, 100 automated conversations a month. Then it stops until next month, no extra charge
- Standard, ₪129: three products of your choice, such as agent, booking and CRM. 15 automated conversations included, then ₪1 each
- All Modules, ₪399: all nine products. 30 automated conversations included, then ₪1 per conversation
- Why does Lite include more? You pay only for the agent. In the other two you pay for the products, and for conversations as used
- A conversation counts when a customer writes after more than 24 quiet hours. If your team replies in it within 48 hours, it doesn’t
- Yearly: ₪749, ₪1,329 or ₪4,299 a year, a saving of ₪79, ₪219 or ₪489
- No setup fee and no per-user charge
- A 14-day trial with every product, no credit card
- On Meta’s official connection for businesses. Meta’s message fees are separate
- Worth knowing: when most conversations close with no one from your team, ₪1 per conversation over the quota adds up fast. See the example
An example: a salon with 100 or 300 conversations a month.
Take a hair salon where the bot answers alone, with no one from the team stepping in, at about six messages per conversation. Prices are monthly and before VAT.
100 conversations a month. Meta’s fees: about ₪10. AssistantLabs Lite: ₪69, about ₪79 with Meta. Enough for the agent alone. AssistantLabs Standard (agent, booking and CRM): ₪129, plus ₪85 for 85 conversations over the quota. About ₪224 with Meta. Gambot Basic: ₪179, about ₪189 with Meta, plus AI credits if they run out. Virtual Spirits: ₪299, about ₪309 with Meta, plus the OpenAI bill. An agency (Achiya, basic package): ₪3,500 once, plus ₪100 to ₪300 a month.
300 conversations a month. Meta’s fees: about ₪29. AssistantLabs Lite: the agent answers the first 100 conversations and then stops, and you answer the rest yourself. AssistantLabs Standard: ₪129, plus ₪285 for 285 conversations. About ₪443 with Meta. AssistantLabs All Modules: ₪399, plus ₪270 for 270 conversations. About ₪698 with Meta. Gambot Basic: ₪179, about ₪208 with Meta, plus AI credits if they run out (₪39 per 500). Virtual Spirits: ₪299 for up to 1,000 conversations, about ₪328 with Meta, plus the OpenAI bill. Nagan (website and WhatsApp): ₪449 for up to 2,000 conversations, about ₪478 with Meta if Meta’s fees aren’t included, plus ₪790 setup.
The honest conclusion: up to 100 conversations a month, Lite is the cheapest on this list, apart from Onimli (₪29), which connects as a linked device. At 300 conversations the bot closes alone, Standard comes to about twice Gambot Basic, and more than Virtual Spirits too. If most of your conversations close without your team and all you need is a bot, we are not the cheap choice. We pay off when you also need booking, a CRM and the other products in one place. In the setup hour we do the sum with you, on your numbers.
Six questions to ask before you pay.
Official connection or a QR scan?
Ask how the bot connects to WhatsApp. On Meta’s official connection for businesses you pay message fees, but it is the way Meta approves. A linked-device connection, like WhatsApp Web, is cheaper, and by one such vendor’s own account it can get the number blocked.
What is included, and what happens over the quota?
How many conversations, messages or credits are included, and what happens when they run out: does the bot stop, or do the charges keep coming? Ask for the unit price.
Do you pay per user?
If someone else on the team needs to see the conversations, what does that cost? With per-user pricing, a team of three pays three times.
Who pays Meta, and how?
Do the message fees go through the vendor or straight to Meta, and at what rate? Ask to see a real bill from a business your size.
Who fixes it when the bot gets something wrong?
After setup, who updates prices, hours and answers? If it is the vendor, what does each change cost, and how long does it take?
What happens if you leave?
Are the contacts and conversations yours, and can you export them? And ask whether your WhatsApp number can move to another vendor.
And our answers to the same questions.
Connection: official only
We work only on Meta’s official connection for businesses, never a QR scan.
Quota: by plan
On Lite the agent stops after 100 conversations a month and charges nothing more. On Standard and All Modules each conversation over the quota costs ₪1.
Users: no extra charge
Your whole team gets in, with no per-user charge.
Meta: separate
Meta’s message fees are not included in our price. In the setup hour we show you what they come to for your business.
Fixes: you, in a sentence
The agent got something wrong? Tell it in one sentence what to fix, and it learns. No waiting for us.
The setup hour: what happens
An hour on Google Meet with one of our specialists: we learn the business, connect your channels and put the agent live. The first meeting is free, no credit card.
Want to know what it would cost your business?
In one free hour on Google Meet we work out the cost from your number of enquiries and build the bot on your business’s information. If it isn’t a fit, you haven’t paid anything.
Questions and answers.
How much does a WhatsApp bot cost for a small business?
With a tool you set up yourself, usually ₪29 to ₪300 a month before VAT, plus Meta’s message fees of about 1.6 agorot per reply. With us, from ₪69 a month with 100 automated conversations a month.
Is there a free WhatsApp bot?
The WhatsApp Business app has a free greeting message, away message and quick replies, but that is not a bot that understands questions. An AI bot on the official API costs money, Meta’s message fees at least. Most vendors offer a trial; ours is 14 days with no card.
Why do prices vary so much?
Because you pay for different things: a tool you run yourself, a project an agency builds and maintains, or something in between. The second difference is what is included: one channel or several, a CRM and a calendar, quotas and support.
What is the difference between a regular chatbot and an AI agent?
A regular bot works from a menu and buttons. An AI agent understands a free-text question and answers from your business’s information, and it can also act: book an appointment, open a customer card or hand you a conversation with a summary.
Do the prices include VAT?
With most Israeli vendors, us included, no. Add 18%.
Where do the prices on this page come from?
From the vendors’ own pages, on 28 October 2026. The exceptions are Wiseflow and Automaziot, whose prices come from STSICONIC’s comparison table, as noted next to them. Prices change, so check the vendor’s page before you decide. The addresses are at the bottom of the page.
What counts as a conversation?
With us, a conversation counts when a customer writes after more than 24 quiet hours and the agent answers. A customer who writes on Monday and again on Thursday is two conversations. If someone on your team replies in a conversation within 48 hours, it comes off the count. Other vendors define it differently, so ask.
