What the first year comes to.
The setup fee is only the first part of the bill. Take a hair salon with 100 automated conversations a month that wants a bot on WhatsApp. This is the whole first year, before VAT (Achiya and STSICONIC don’t state VAT) and before Meta’s message fees, which you pay separately with anyone connected through the official API.
Achiya, the custom bot: from ₪3,500 setup, plus ₪100 to ₪300 a month. In total, from ₪4,700 to ₪7,100. Nagan, website + WhatsApp: ₪790 setup, plus ₪449 a month. The bottom line: up to about 400 automated conversations a month, we are cheaper than Nagan in the first year. Above that Nagan is cheaper, because it includes 2,000 conversations in the price. In the second year, with no setup fee left, that point falls to about 320. And if you are willing to set it up and maintain it yourself, Gambot Basic comes out cheaper than us from a few dozen automated conversations a month.

What exactly does setup include?
How many channels, conversation flows and integrations. Get it in writing, with the timeline.
Who owns the bot if you leave?
What stays with you: the information, the conversations and the contacts. And check that the Meta business account is in your business’s name, not the agency’s.
What does each change cost?
Updating a price, adding a question, holiday hours. Find out what the monthly fee covers and what is a separate bill.
What happens if you aren’t happy?
Is there a refund, and within how long? Nagan, for example, refunds setup if you aren’t happy within 14 days of going live.
How does the bot connect to WhatsApp?
Through Meta’s official API, or as a linked device by scanning a QR code? If it’s a scan, ask the vendor to tell you in writing whether the number risks being blocked.
