Add knowledge from your website

Point your agent at your website and it reads the pages on its own — pulling your products, answers, and links into its knowledge in about a minute.

Why the website

Your website already says most of what a customer asks — what you sell, how shipping works, your hours, your policies. Scanning it is the fastest way to hand your agent that knowledge: it reads the pages and fills in FAQ, catalog, and links on its own.

Three ways to feed your agent, one place. The website is one of three knowledge sources — the others are a document you upload and a short guided interview. Use whichever matches where your knowledge already lives; you can combine them.

Scan your website

All you need is your URL. Two ways to kick off the scan — just ask Logos in chat, or start it from Settings. Both run the exact same scan; pick whichever feels easier.

The fastest way is to just say it. Open Logos and ask it to scan your site — it drops a URL field right in the chat and starts the scan in the background.

Open "Logos" from the top navigation.
Ask it to scan your website — paste your URL and it does the rest.

Prefer to do it by hand? The scan lives under Sources.

Click "Build" at the top.
"Sources" is in the side menu, under "Knowledge."
Pick "Create Agent from Website" — the first card.
Enter your URL and scan. It reads your pages and updates the agent — about a minute.
Use your real URL: point it at your live homepage. The scan follows your main pages, so the more your site says, the more your agent starts out knowing.

What it pulls in

When the scan finishes, the agent has drafted knowledge from your pages. It shows up across your modules — the questions it found become FAQ, products become catalog, and useful pages become links.

  • FAQ — common questions and answers it read off your pages
  • Catalog — products or services it recognized
  • Links — pages worth sending a customer to
  • The website stays listed under "Your Sources" — re-scan any time to refresh
Re-scanning replaces: scanning the same site again replaces what it pulled in before, so your agent stays in sync with your live pages. Removing the source also removes the content it added.
