Every part of the product catalog — products and their fields, images and image labels, the media gallery, and the send settings that decide exactly what your customer receives on WhatsApp.

Why the catalog

If you sell things, the catalog is what your agent recommends, describes, and quotes prices from. Add a product once and the agent can answer “how much is the linen dress?”, send a photo of it, and drop a link to the product page — without you in the loop.

Everything on this page feeds one thing: the exact message a customer gets on WhatsApp. This guide walks the whole page top to bottom — the product list, a product's fields, its images, the shared media gallery, the image labels that pick the right photo, and the send settings.

Already have it all on your site? Don't retype it — a website scan reads your store and fills the catalog for you. Then use everything below to refine individual products.

Catalogs & the product list

Products live under Product Catalog in the Knowledge menu. You can keep more than one catalog — a chip per catalog (e.g. a collection or a season), each with its own product count. Search filters the list, and the cog opens catalog-wide settings.

Click "Build" at the top.
"Product Catalog" is in the side menu, under "Knowledge."

Each product row shows, at a glance:

  • Price — the after-discount price in green, with the original struck through when there's a discount
  • Image count — how many photos are attached
  • Active / Hidden — hidden products stay in your list but the agent never recommends or sends them
Add a product The dashed New Product row at the top opens a blank product straight into the edit view — that's the next section.

A product's fields

Open a product and you get its full detail card. Two ways to fill it in — describe it to Logos in chat, or type into the fields under Settings. Both land in the same catalog; pick whichever's easier.

Describe the product and Logos adds it to your catalog:

Or fill in the fields by hand in the product edit view:

Every field, and what it does:

  • Product Name — the way a customer would say it, not an internal SKU
  • Product Description — the line the agent uses to recommend and describe it; keep it short and in your own words
  • Product URL — the product page. In card mode this becomes the “View product” button
  • Product Price and Price after discount — quote both so the agent never gets it wrong; the discounted price shows in green
  • Product Discount — a free-text deal line (e.g. “1+1 on summer dresses”) the agent can mention
  • Active / Hidden toggle — flip a product off without deleting it
The description and price are what the agent quotes to customers — so keep them accurate and in your own words.

Images & send order

Inside a product, the Images section lists the photos attached to it, in the order they'll send. The number badge on each thumbnail is its send order; you can reorder or remove any of them.

Two things to know about this list:

  • Order is send order — the agent sends photos in this exact sequence
  • The first ones are the default set — on a generic “show me this” the agent sends the first N images (you set N in settings, below). The Default badge marks them

The tags on each image (front, back, detail…) are what let the agent send just the right photo when a customer asks for something specific — and those come from the shared media gallery, up next.

The media gallery & labels

Every image lives once in a shared media gallery, and products point at gallery images. Click Add / manage images on a product to open it. This is where uploading, pasting from a URL, and — most importantly — labelling happens.

What you can do here:

  • Upload a PNG/JPEG/WebP (up to 5 MB, the WhatsApp limit), or From URL to paste an image link — either way it's re-hosted for you
  • Select images for the product — the numbered badge is the send order; “Done” attaches them
  • Label each image with tags right on its card — type to pick an existing tag or create a new one. Tags belong to the image and save as you type
  • Filter by tag to find images fast once the gallery grows
Why labels matter. Labels are how the agent picks the right photo. Tag one image front and another back, and when a customer asks “can I see the back?” the agent sends only the back shot — never the wrong one, never all of them. No labels? It just sends the default set.
Good labels Keep them short and reusable across products — front, back, detail, on model, a color name. The same tag reused everywhere is what makes “show me the blue one” work across your whole catalog.

Catalog settings

The cog in the toolbar opens settings that apply to every product in the catalog. There are two: how a product is delivered, and how many images send by default.

Send mode decides the shape of the message. The two modes look different on the customer's phone:

  • Product card — image, details and a “View product” button, all in one tidy message
  • Text + image — the agent writes the reply in its own words and sends the image separately, so it reads more like a person
  • Images sent by default — 1 to 3, the first images in each product's list. Set it to how many a customer should see on a first look

Good catalog habits

A few habits keep your catalog pulling its weight:

  • Clear names — the way a customer would say it, not an internal SKU
  • Real prices — including the sale price, so quotes are never wrong
  • Label your images — even two tags (front / back) unlock “can I see the …” requests
  • Hide, don't delete — flip seasonal or out-of-stock products to Hidden and back
  • Keep it current — re-scan your website, or edit a product when stock or price changes
Big store? Start with your best-sellers by hand, or scan the whole site at once — then let the agent recommend from day one and refine as you go.
