Why persona
Your agent's persona is how it comes across to customers — the way it opens a chat, its tone, how much it says, and which languages it replies in. Get it right and every conversation feels like your shop, not a robot.
Set your persona
Two ways to set it — tell Logos in chat, or fill it in under Settings. Both write to the exact same place; pick whichever feels easier.
The fastest way is to just talk. Open Logos and describe your business in a sentence — it writes your persona (and the rest of your agent's knowledge) as you go.
Prefer to set it by hand? Persona lives under Build → Identity.
Either way you land in the same place — start in Logos and jump into Settings to fine-tune a field, or the other way around. Neither path is more "correct."
The fields that matter
However you set it, a few fields punch above their weight:
Watch these: the response-length slider and supported languages matter more than they look — a too-long default reads as robotic over WhatsApp, and an unselected language means the agent falls back to your default even when a customer writes in it.

- Every language your customers actually write in is selected
